How to merge PDF files
Combine two or more PDF files into one document, choose the page order, and download the result without uploading the files to Docvel.
When to merge PDFs
Merging is useful when a report, set of scanned pages, application, or project document is spread across several PDF files. Docvel keeps the files in the order you set before creating the combined document.
Steps
- 1Open Merge PDF and choose at least two PDF files, or drag them into the file area.
- 2Use the Up and Down controls to arrange the files in the order they should appear.
- 3Remove any file you do not need, then select Merge PDF.
- 4Download merged.pdf and check the page order before sharing it.
Your files stay in the browser
The merge operation reads the selected PDFs locally in your browser and creates the combined file on your device. No account is required and the tool does not send the selected PDF contents to a Docvel processing server.
Things to check
- Make sure all files are valid PDFs and are not empty.
- Confirm the order before downloading; the merge follows the displayed file order.
- Keep your original files until you have checked the combined PDF.
